biography

Shelley Jambresic is a freelance music photographer providing concert, promotion, documentary and endorsement photography as well as individual projects.

Working with numerous magazines, bands and labels her worldwide publications include DVDs, albums, printed media as well as textile merchandise.

Born in Croatia, Shelley's first paths led her to Switzerland in 1991. Influenced by her studies - M.Sc. in Microbiology and M.A. in Science Communication - her first passion and interest in photography was focused on nature and environment using her father's Praktica LTL. The fusion of photography and music came in late 2001 while working as music journalist for an online magazine and taking a few simple shots for its internet presentation.

Within the following years Shelley worked with acts from various music genres including rock, pop, metal and hip-hop and provided endorsement photography amongst others for Jackson Guitars, Tama Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Engl Amplifiers, Ernie Ball Strings, Maxon Pedals and Vic Firth Drumsticks. Her work has been published in numerous international magazines such as MetalHammer, Terrorizer, RockHard, Close-Up, Soundi as well as daily newspapers.

Proudly, her diverse individual projects also include cooperations with the influential Celtic Frost as the exclusive documentary of their latest video shooting for the song "A Dying God Coming into Human Flesh".

Based in Central Europe, Shelley travels around frequently and is available for assignments in whole Europe.
